Best Washing Machine for Large dog beds?
I'm looking to buy a new washing machine, but can't decide. I have two big dogs and lots of dog beds. I have to take the beds to the laundry mat around once a month, spending at least $60 to wash and dry them all. My current washer isn't large enough to wash these big beds. The largest beds are 42" circles that are 6" thick. Other beds are around the size of two king size pillows together.

Would appreciate suggestions. Looking at Kenmore Elite 5.2 cu ft. Whirlpool cabrio 5.0. Or a frontloader. Would prefer top loading.

Thanks!

A front loader would wash these much easier and better than a top loader, because as long as you can fit the article in without literally stuffing it in, the water and detergent will get moved through it as the drum revolves. In a top loader, something large can't move around much so it doesn't get washed as well. I'm not keen on front loaders generally, but if you're spending $60 a month and more on laundry already, plus the time it takes you to go to the laundromat, a front loader should pay itself off pretty quick. I'd take a dog bed, or something much the same size, with me when I looked at washers to be sure it would fit properly in any machine I looked at.
It sucks that you have to spend 60 dollars on the beds but really I wouldn't recommend washing it in your own washer even if its a brand new one. The stuffing inside once the fabric tears and releases it, that will ruin your washer and dryer which ever it releases in and then you have the headache of paying more then 60 dollars for a repair or even a newer washer. I'd stick with washing them at the laundry matt or hand washing them hun.
